I’m seeing multiple instances of warnings like this in my php error log:

[26-Apr-2025 08:40:30 UTC] PHP Warning: exif_read_data(tea_and_cake.jpg): Incorrect APP1 Exif Identifier Code in /home/customer/www/mydomain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/admin-site-enhancements/classes/class-image-upload-control.php on line 317

Can you tell me when there’ll be a fix for this please?

@johnwebman thank you for reporting this. Please test with this v7.8.8 that contains a potential fix for the issue: https://www.wpase.com/sdc_download/2131/?key=j1zzq5hg7zybcct2akpog5rhf2odz7. Please also share whether the image is being uploaded just fine, i.e. you can view it in the media library and inserti it in a page/post and the image is being displayed just fine on the frontend.

@qriouslad thanks for your prompt update. Despite the warning the image appears to have uploaded just fine and there are no issues with using the image in any way. I’ve tested your update using the same image and there are no longer any warnings. So that looks like a result to me.
