Multiple widget versions

Hi All,

I’m using the nexgen gallery widget and have a requirement for two differently coded outputs in different sidebars.

Is it possible to edit the widgets.php code to register a second widget (eg. NextGEN widget2) with the same actions as NextGEN widget so I can then edit the php/html output?

And if so… How?
