Someone has reported that it works on multisite but it must be installed on each subsite to work. If this is correct, yoy must then simply disable the automatic disabeling. Search for the error message to find the relevant file.
As multisite functionality seems to be the most asked for feature, I shall move it up in the roadmap. I’m back from vaccation monday. I shall then finalize the next release which brings exciting new functionality. I also have some work that needs to be done. And then I can look at mulsite. Perhaps in two weeks time. If you need webp functionality for multisite before that, try ShortPixel or ewww
Yes. Please make Multisite compatible. “Search for the eror message…” in server log files? Do you happen to know the file’s namee? Thanks! let me know where I can contribute.
Not in server logs, but in plugin files. Anyway, the file is “wp-content/plugins/webp-express/lib/activate-first-time.php”
I commented out the action here: webp-express/lib/activate-first-time.php. Which worked though now it bulked about my nginx server 🙁
meaning?
It should work on nginx, but you have to add rules manually, as described in the FAQ
Multisite is now in beta.
Will you help testing it?
To test it, you must:
1) Go to https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/webp-express/advanced/
2) Scroll down to the “Previous versions” section (in the bottom of the page)
3) Select “Development version” and click “Download”
4) Install manually
Please report test results (good or bad) here or on the github issue: https://github.com/rosell-dk/webp-express/issues/173
“Complained” NOT “bulked”. I will test it. And report back. Thanks!
0.12 is out – with multisite support 🙂
