Multisite – can’t change site settings

    Hi everybody

    I’m using WordPress Multisite for around 3 or 4 years now and I set the Site Upload Space Quota to a certain limit that I will now reach in next few days. When I try to change this data (through Edit site/Settings) or any other data and Save this I get different errors – on Chrome “ERR_BLOCKED_BY_XSS_AUDITOR”, on other browsers some other errors. Do anybody have any idea what could be the problem or do anybody know if there is any other way (through code?) to change the value of this field?

    It’s supposedly caused by the Chrome browser and there are workarounds for that…

    Read this article which also suggested using Firfox instead https://www.itsupportguides.com/knowledge-base/google-chrome/google-chrome-how-to-bypass-err_blocked_by_xss_auditor/.

    Another option might be to dig around in the database looking for that setting but it is probably buried in some serialized data or some obscure location that would take some research to find.

    You mentioned other errors in other browsers…

    A quick Google search might help you with those or feel free to come back and ask.

    Can’t promise an answer on a non-WordPress issue as we may not have that info. I stumbled upon the above link when I realized I had no idea what that was all about until I looked. I thought it might have been a WordPress error so I dug into it.
