    Hello,

I had used this plugin with great success in past versions. I have a new instance of wordpress 3.8.1 and have it set for multisite. In your installation documentation you give an example of the files that may need to be created manually in wp-content/blogs.dir/92/wppa/ and …/wp-content/blogs.dir/92/wppa/thumbs/. On the current installation the blogs are placed in this folder: /wp-content/uploads/sites. Here it the errors that appear when I activate the plugin.

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: No such file or directory in /home/ccorner/public_html/bblog/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/wppa-setup.php on line 1169

Warning: fopen(/home/ccorner/public_html/bblog/wp-content/wppa-depot/admin/error.log) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/ccorner/public_html/bblog/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/wppa-utils.php on line 1343

Could not create the wppa directory. Ask your administrator to give you more rights, or create /wp-content/blogs.dir/8/wppa manually using an FTP program.

Who decided to use /wp-content/uploads/sites instead of /wp-content/blogs.dir ? was it you or is it wp that changes this behaviour without telling me…

You can manually create /wp-content/blogs.dir/1 /wp-content/blogs.dir/2 etc for all existing blogs, and run Table VIII-A1: Setup for all existing blogs, this should fix it for now. If i know what the current policy is, i can change the code, but that will take some time because of existing sites must be able to update…
