Multisite Network Dash Redirect Loop
-
I’m getting a redirect loop when trying the access the network dashboard of my multisite installation.
When developing a new subsite for the network it will be at primarydomain.com/subsite/. I build the site and define any redirects (302’s) required relative to this.
When it’s time for the subsite to go live I use Multisite domain mapping to get the subsite to run at ‘subsitedomain.com’. Then Velvet Blues URL Updater to match any instances of ‘primarydomain.com/subsite/’ and replace with ‘subsitedomain.com’. This has worked perfectly for me for years, but it’s my first time using Safe redirect manager.
The new site works great, I can access its admin dashboard and all the other sites in the network are fine too, the redirects also all work fine, but when trying to reach the multisite network dashboard I get stuck in a 302 redirect loop between ‘primarydomain.com/wp-admin/network’ and ‘subsitedomain.com/wp-admin/network’.
I’ve tried deleting the safe redirect plugin from the server, but the redirect loop remains. Would this suggest it’s not part of the problem, or do the redirects remain even if the plugin is removed?
Feeling rather stuck at the moment. Any help greatly appreciated, thank you.
