@taunus:
Hi there!
Thanks for your feedback!
The plugin was developed on Multisite, actually; I cannot reproduce your issue currently.
I suspect that the error message was when the plugin got deactivated – that actually cannot be in WordPress. Maybe it was not really deactiving (I had such issues with other plugins myself), so it got deactivated only when you renamed the folder…?!?
Could you help me with the following questions please:
– Was the plugin network activated in your Multisite?
– If so, did all sub sites use Genesis & Prose?
– Or, did all sub sites have Genesis, but some had another child theme than Prose?
– If only activated on one sub sites (or more, indivudally), had this site really Genesis & Prose child theme active?
This would be really helpful for, as only with reproducing an issue I could rule that for future cases.
Thanks, Dave!
…to answer myself, I made another test and guess I found the issue. Already have added some more checks to my dev version! An update should come tonight or tomorrow latest!
Still, the answers to my above questions would be really helpful for me!
Thanks again, Dave 🙂
Hi David,
thank you for yor help.
– Was the plugin network activated in your Multisite? Yes
– If so, did all sub sites use Genesis & Prose? Yes
If necessary; I can give you wp admission for my site.
Hi taunus!
Thanks for your answers!
Mmh, if so, then this is really strange that you still got the error…
Test account would be awesome for further testing! My contact is: http://genesisthemes.de/en/contact/
Thanks, Dave 🙂
Thanks taunus for your help!
I could resolve the issue, one sub-site in your install had “Prose” approved but not activated, therefore the error happened…
I just included checks to resolve that, so that should not happen again!
Also, more checks/improvements were made — that will also land directly in next update!
Your install should be good to go now again – sorry for the trouble!
Thanks again for the feedback & opportunity, was really helpful!
