• Hi,

I’m running a multisite setup and I will have 40+ sites eventually. At the moment everytime I create a new site a new site ID repeater folder gets created in core/repeater. I then have to go into the repeater template for the new site and copy in the default template code I’ve created.

Is the no way to force it to always use the same default template i.e. the one at core/repeater/deafult.php for all sites rather than having to recreate the same file for each site?

Also, I updated to the latest version of the plugin yesteday and all my multisite templates got blanked out so I had to recreate them all again.

Sorry if i’ve missed something obvious, any help appreciated.

    Thanks,
    David

    Hi David,
It is not suppose to working the way you are describing so clearly something is wrong when you activate ALM on a new site.

It sounds like a permissions issue but is strange the directory is being created but not the default repeater.

I’ll have to run some tests to see if this is just an issue you are having.

    Hi,

Ok thanks. A bit more information for you, I’m using a multisite cloning tool (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/multisite-clone-duplicator/) and when the new site is create ALM is already activated and the new site folder in the repeater templates has been created with a default.php file but it’s contents is the original template, it doesn’t contain the updates I’ve added to core/repeater/deafult.php and I have to manually copy and paste them in each time.

I hope that helps pinpoint the issue.

    Best,
    David

Do you think the blog ids are the same after cloning?
If they change at all then the repeater issue could happen.

The folder numbers are the same exact IDs as the newly cloned site.

I’m just not sure what the issue would be here because I’m not sure how this clones the multisite.

when the new site is create ALM is already activated and the new site folder in the repeater templates has been created with a default.php file but it’s contents is the original template.

Have you tried clicking the option drop down and updating from Database?
