Multisite – Save API Site #2, 3 not working

    Hi AI

    I have created new API for site #2 and entered in OpenAI API setting, but it does not save. Field yields empty… What is the issue?

    FYI Eleven Labs API saves fine across all sites

    Thank you for reporting this.

    The issue you’re experiencing is something i am aware of and is a known limitation in the current version of our plugin. When I initially developed the plugin, I created a separate table in the database to store the API key and related fields. However, in later versions, I started using the options table in the database to store keys like ElevenLabs, which is why you’re not facing any issues with ElevenLabs and others.

    The OpenAI API key, being stored in a different way, is not compatible with multisite setups. I’m aware of this issue and hope to address it in a future update, but I can’t provide an ETA at this time.

    the DB location limitation is that only an issue for OpenAI? So that Gemini should be able to save across multisites?

    Better to be clear before testing all . Very Nice plugin btw.

    Hey again

    I have activated Gemini and it appears that saved drafts open in classic editor in the full site editor. How can I change this to open as blocks default and always?

    Yes, the DB location limitation is only an issue with the OpenAI API key. Gemini should work fine across multisites.

    Regarding the classic editor, if you have the Classic Editor plugin activated, it will open in the Classic Editor by default. Please check if you have the Classic Editor plugin installed. If so, disabling it will ensure that drafts open in the Block Editor instead.

    I do not have classic editor installed. It does open in block editor but the content is contained in the classic block. Then I need to convert to blocks…. That’s doable but not comme il faut for the FSE experience I guess…

    I am not able to save Gemini models for site #2,3. Flash 1.5 gemini pro 1.5 etc does not show. It renders empty. Sometimes something shows, but does not save. So after refresh empty.
