Good afternoon. I am using the latest version o WP and the plugin.
I have installed the plugin and and network enabled it.

The plugin works well on the main site but defaults the 404 page to the home page and only the home page for sub sites. I have no control over where a 404 responce is delt with.

can you tell me if this pugin supports multisite?
    Is this a bug?

    Thanks

  • The plugin supports multisite.

Just to be sure I’ve installed a completely new WP and activated multisite. Installed 404page and it works out of the box as expected.

Of course you have to create a custom 404 page for each site in your network and you have to set up 404page on every site. Network-wide activation means that a plugin is automatically activated for all sites and also if you create a new site. It does not mean that you have one network-wide setup for the plugin. Plugin configuration has do be done for each site. That’s how plugins work on multisite. Maybe a misunderstanding caused your problem?

Or maybe there’s a conflict with another plugin you are using. Please deactivate all plugins. It should work than. Reactivate the plugins one by one and test after each to find out which plugin causes the problem.

    Kindly keep me informed.

    Regards
    Peter
