Multisite user role issue, editor cannot see pages or posts

    I am trying to setup specific access for the editor role in my multisite website. I have installed URE and when I create a user with editor role, they are not able to see any of the site’s pages or posts even though they are all there. If I give that user super admin privileges, then they can see them. Seems something is overriding URE as the editor role is set to have full access to pages and posts.

    Does user have editor role at the same site where he try to see posts or pages? Take into account that WP multisite checks user permissions on per site basis.

    Thanks for the reply, we only have 2 sites and the user does have access to the main site.

    If user does not can see/edit pages at the 2nd site, go to admin dashboard of the 2nd site and grant him editor role directly there. It seems as user was added to the 2nd site with a default subscriber role.

    Thanks for following up with me on this, I have done as you suggested and tried to grant editor role as well I removed the user and added them again in the specific site.

    The same result, the user is unable to see/edit pages. Only super admin is able to see/edit pages.

    I do not think the user is being limited to a subscriber role because they are able to create a new page and publish it and once published they see only that page. So there is an issue with being able to see pages that have been published by other users, maybe because they were published by super admin? Have you heard of this issue before?

    A test, I created a page with the editor role, published it and now I see only that page. I changed the author to another editor level account and the page disappears from the original editor who created it.

    In your plugin I have 10/10 for editor for pages so editor should be able to edit others pages. Seems very strange.
