MW:SPAM:SEO malware script inserted into header.php file

One of my sites was infected the the MW:SPAM:SEO malware. Both the Backup Buddy malware check and Securi sitecheck were finding it in their scans. I’ve used the gotomls plugin in the past and highly recommend it. However, this time it wasn’t finding the source of the malware so I wanted to let you know what I found. It was coming from a script inserted in my header.php file. A snippet others can search for to see if it’s in their files is: ‘facebook-jssdk’. It’s possible that this came from a plugin that had been added and removed in the past. Let me know if you’d like me to email you more details for your next round of updates. Hope this is helpful!
