Are you sure you are trying to use the correct stats plugin?
The first one here is the one being used on the mx4 author’s site, I believe.

i went to wp-stats.php on your blog and it looks fine to me..
it is shown in the narrow column format.. same as mine..
What I need to do, to add this on my slide bar on the top?
I just put the documents in my folder… and when I click on to go to the page it asks if I want to save the file.

Guys, I’m using the MX4 theme but settled with Gamerz’ WP-Stats. It’s not so much a plugin as it is a WordPress mod. But very simple to edit and use; you just can’t configure it directly within the plugin API of WP.
