My apologies for delayed reply.

It seem like you currently have memory limit of 40 MB.
This is quite low value for WordPress and for restoration.

Even while our plugin minimizes memory usage to up to 2 MB per batch, it still reached the limit, which may mean, other things takes, mostly core takes 38 MB.

As your backup is already very small, it’s difficult for me to give you any recommendations that could make it even smaller, optimized.

The best solution for you would be to increase memory limit to recommended at least 128 MB (96 MB should do the job for you as well).

Depends on your hosting provider, but you should be able to increase the limit in hosting dashboard, or simply try to modify wp-config.php file, set higher memory limit.
