Hello everyone,
I asked my host ipage.com if the wordpress meet the installation requirements:
I’m interested in running the open-source WordPress <http://ww.wp.xz.cn/> blogging software and I was wondering if my account supported the following:

– PHP 5.4 or greater
– MySQL 5.5 or greater
– The mod_rewrite Apache module
Thanks!

and they replayed:
“Hello,

Thank you for contacting Support.

I see that you are currently having iPage Essential Hosting Plan, so you can install WordPress using MOJO Marketplace.

To learn more about installing WordPress using MOJO Marketplace, please access the link given below:
http://www.ipage.com/knowledgebase/beta/article.bml?ArticleID=2156 .

Since it is a shared hosting platform, we do support MySQL 5.5.32 and the mod_rewrite Apache module. However, we do not support PHP 5.4 or greater version in this platform.

If you wish to use PHP 5.4 version, then we suggest that you sign up or a hosting account in our VPS platform.
