My permalink automatically changes to -2

    I’m trying to publish post on my website, and whenever I change my permalink it automatically shows-2. Please help me

    Do you mind posting a screenshot? I cannot seem to identify the exact issue. The permalinks look fine to me.

    Slugs are uniqie,
    It seems you have already a post/page/category/tag/attachment/another item with that slug

    Also items in the trash are also counted ! You have to empty your trash bin to reuse slugs.
