My theme's CSS changes don't affect

    You could also consider using Contact Form 7 Skins to style your Contact Form 7 Forms.​

    Thank you for responding with help.

    I even tried copy and pasting some of the example CSS in those two tutorial articles right into my style.css and still, no changes at all have been made to the Contact 7 form. I don’t understand what I need to change in my style.css to actually see the changes happen.
