My wordpress admin area is crawling

    Hello everyone,

    My wordpress admin area is very slow.

    I am using wordpress version 3.5.1.

    I have deactivated all of my plugins and it is still very slow.

    My actual wordpress site is slow as well.

    I did not have these problems until I upgraded to version 3.5.1

    Can anyone give me suggestions as to how to fix this?

    Will wordpress be releasing a fix for these lag issues?

    Your problems can crop up for several reasons. If you can post your site URL, it will help us verify what really is happening with your site.

    This is how pingdom tool assesses your site:
    Page size = 4.6MB, Load time = 23.99s, Requests = 164, Perf. grade = 59/100

    You can optimize it by reducing page size, optimizing images, scripts, etc. As a test can you deactivate plugins and test your site?

    By deactivating all of my plugins, will that make my wordpress admin area
    run quicker as well?
