My WordPress will not update

    I am prompted on a daily basis to update my WordPress, but when I try to do it, it won’t. My site has been around for a while, but I like it, and want to keep it. I’d like to fix whatever needs fixing in order for it to update. Please advise.

    If the update isn’t going through, it usually means there’s something blocking the process. Have you checked the permissions on your hosting? Low resources on hosting are another issue which might cause this issue.
    Please provide the screenshot of the message you receive when you try to update WordPress so that we can help.

    What exactly do you see when you try to install the update? Do you get an error message, and if so, what does it say?

    Please note that some hosting providers also control the updates for WordPress for you. In this case, you cannot install the update yourself via the backend, but must use an interface provided by the hosting provider. You can also contact your hosting provider’s support team for clarification.
