mysqldump: Got error: 2002

    Hi,

    I have a wordpress site installed locally, using xampp to run it. I’ve never had this issue before but when trying to run a back-up I get the error:

    “mysqldump: Got error: 2002: Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/tmp/mysql.sock’ (2) when trying to connect”

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
