On several of my sites, a “1” flag displays next to the plugin name in the WordPress menu but I don’t see any notification or issue in the settings. Any idea what it might relate to or why it won’t be dismissed?

    Hi @dking64,

Quite mysterious indeed. Do you have any “open” notifications in the Really Simple Security dashboard that can still be dismissed?

If so, you can dismiss those by clicking the “X” behind any such Dashboard Notices and the +1 next to the plugin should disappear as well.

Let me know, hope this helps for now!
    Kind regards, Jarno

    Thanks for following up.

Could be absence of a firewall, yes? It’s a little confusing because a related site on the same server, without a firewall, has the red x for firewall but no notification flag in the WP menu.

    Hi @dking64,

It could be, if you share a screenshot of the notice(s) in the Dashboard on this site, I can have a look at them as well.

Alternatively, you could tick the “Dismiss all notifications” slider in the plugin’s general settings to disable all of them at once.

    Kind regards, Jarno
