• Hi all,

Whilst creating an article, there is a dropdown menu that lists all the authors, editors and admins. However, on two of my websites, they stop at the letter F and C. This would obviously leave out a lot of names from the list.

    What could be causing this?

    Kind regards,
    Chris

  • Are your sites running the same version of WP?
Some time back, there was an issue of showing too many authors, brought up by a person that ran a forum website with 10,000 members. I’m not sure what the actual resolution of that issue was, but I haven’t heard more about it.
You can open an issue in the Gutenberg repository, providing some more details like how many users you have and how many can edit. There should be a way to choose the author you want.

    Hi Joy,

Yes they are both indeed running the same version of WordPress.

That’s the thing, I read about that on my search for answers but both these websites have less than 20 contributors each.

Thanks for the link, I will give it a look!
