Native WordPress gallery not working for random style

    The images on this page are attached to the post, and I am using:
    [gallery style=‘random’]

    The thumbnails are not laid out with the neat random packing. random works fine for my flickr sourced pictures.

    You have improper quotes around random. You need to have plain quotes ('), while you seem to have special quotes (‘ and ’). This typically occurs if you are typing into a rich text editor such as MCE (a.k.a. the Classic Editor), or you are copy-pasting from another place.
