    Is it possible to change the navigation of the NextGen Basic Thumbnails and if yes how can i do this?

    Only Style related. Bigger swipe and exit buttons mainly.

    Our guess is that you are referring about the lightbox styling. If you use the default SimpleLightbox, you can try styling its navigation using a custom CSS rule such as the one from below:

    .sl-wrapper .sl-navigation button,
.sl-wrapper .sl-close {
    font-size: 6rem !important;
}
