I just set up a blog with some static pages and no posts. however, the static pages aren’t showing up as a navigation tab like I would normally expect–they don’t appear at all. What’s the trick to having the navigation bar appear?

1)I am using a theme that supports the navigation bar; in the theme’s demo they appear.
    2) The navigation bar doesn’t appear in the wordpress default theme. 3) The <ul id=”nav”> tag is there in the HTML page source, with the static page links listed in the li tags.

So…I’m quite confused. Any ideas? Thanks 🙂

look in the theme’s header.php and see if the code just needs uncommenting

    1. you will need to provide a link to download the theme in question. Many themes have Pages related navigational bars (e.g. Mimbo)
    2. the WordPress Default theme DOES NOT have a navigation bar, just a sidebar.
