You might want to take a look at the wpmathpub plugin. https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wpmathpub/
I haven’t used it yet, but, according to the reviews, the ones who have used it seem to like it.
If it does work for you, do us a favor and let us know that it works with WP Edit.

I had not seen the plugin @ronbme recommended… so I’ll be curious as well to hear how it performs.
I know TinyMCE had something called “Latex” which was a mathematical formula editor. I did some searching; and here is what I found:

First of all TinyMCE does not exists, only TinyMCE Advanced.
Using wp-edit together with wpmathpub plugin does not operates on WP 4.1.1.
I tried to use JetPack’s ‘beatifull maths’ together with WP-Latex plugin. You have to make the LaTex codes at your own, that is imposible using complex math types.
Josh, when i used your plugin ‘ultimate tiny…’ i could use a similar editor like this in codecogs.com.
THat’s what i need please.

I’m not sure what you did but it worked fine on mine.
I have WP Edit Pro installed.
I also have the Page Builder by SiteOrigin installed which seems to give some people problems.
I did the same code example shown in the screenshot of the wpmathpub plugin.
The only error I got was referencing a font which couldn’t be found. This did not affect the output. I only knew about the error when I checked the wpmathpub tab under “Tools”.
Did you install the wpmathpub plugin? Did you get errors? Did you check the wpmathpub under “Tools” in the admin directory?
It doesn’t look like the wpmathpub plugin is supported that well, so I would look for another alternative. But, if you can’t find another one, you might want to give this one another look. It might take you a while to set it up, but it does seem to work.

Okay, I’ll take a look at adding the CodeCogs editor. Yes, that is similar to the last one in UTMCE.
I’ll double-check the licensing to make sure I can use it.. and I’ll try to get it added in the next update.

I’m glad for updating your plugin which involves the fx functionality. Please fix the following:
-There are no buttons for Copy, Cut, Paste and full functinalities.
-As far as the CodeCogs editor is concerned please fix the following:
1. The appearance of the inline option.
2. Wider yellow box for the functions.
3. The preview of the function some times stacks, it does not refresh.
3. The appearance of the file extension that should be appears on the left of the ‘character font’ list box.
I’m almost ready to use it. So, i’ll be glad to see the fixes i mentioned.

Hello,

The Cut, Copy and Paste editor buttons have shown to not work consistently across all browsers.
You can test this by going to the Tinymce4 site and trying their editor.
The Cut, Copy and Paste buttons are under the “Edit” menu item (on the tinymce website).
See if you can use them successfully from different browsers.

While I think these are great requests; unfortunately, there is not much I can do. I would suggest contacting the developers of CodeCogs, and seeing if they are aware of the issues. Have you tested to see if the issues persist across multiple browsers?
