I want to add a searchable database to my site. The user would view a list in a format similar to a spreadsheet. We’d like the ability to sort by any column and to search by column. It seems like something that would have been done before, but I haven’t been able to find a canned solution. Is there one?

Where is your data stored? In database or you would like to enter it in a single page??

The data doesn’t exist yet. We’re looking at 400-500 rows to start with, but it could grow. I think it makes sense for it to be in a database.

Use ACF and Custom post type, then create custom page template and use something like this: http://www.jqueryscript.net/demo/jQuery-Plugin-For-Sortable-Searchable-Tables-Tablesort/
