    Yes, I agree, this can be a bit painful – this has been mentioned to me before and it is on my to-do list. Unfortunately this will require re-building the SA plugin from the ground-up 🙁

    I’m involved with my latest plugin project at the moment, Slide Any Post (edgewebpages.com/sap), which will allow you to generate a carousel/slider from ANY WordPress Post Type (including custom post types). This is nearing the final stages, and after this has launched then I can put some focus back on Slide Anything.

    Am marking this as resolved, as this is not a bug, but a future feature to be added to Slide Anything.

    I’ve now added the ‘drag-and-drop’ slide re-ordering to the plugin.
    Download version 2.3.5.
