Need help editing "square" hover view

Dear Noor,

Great plugin, thanks… On the home page at http://erwinbuck.dreamhosters.com you can see the 170px x 170px photo category squares I’d like to create, and below the same items as I’ve tried to edit the CSS to use them with the “Square” (effect6) Hover effect.

Can you give me some pointers about how to finish the job? Essentially the hover effect size is too large and I can’t find a way to trim it to the appropriate square, and also I’d like to get rid of any borders.
