• I am setting up a website that is subscription based. Customer pays $xx.xx / month for access to uploaded content. Depending on their subscription level, various uploaded content would be available or not (Tier 1 would be say $100 / month for access to any uploaded content related to a single type – like cooking videos – but not have access to anything other than that, Tier 2 would be cooking + another type, etc etc). I believe WooCommerce Subscriptions may do this job, but I am unsure as the description page doesn’t indicate that this is possible. Any pointers on whether the subscription add-on would do this job? I don’t want to have to go in to the subscription settings and add in any new item that was uploaded afterwards, it should be automatic…

    Hello @accountablevalue,

While the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension allows you to sell subscriptions, e.g. with monthly or yearly renewals, the WooCommerce Memberships is needed to restrict access to content as mentioned in your briefing.

If you want to try these extensions, we have a 30-day refund policy. If the extensions don’t work the way you need or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to provide a full refund.

You can read more about our refund policy on our website here: http://woocommerce.com/refund-policy/

    Thanks Niels.

Follow up question, how would I set it up so that someone buys a subscription and gets a membership that grants access to content? I can’t seem to hide the membership product but know it’s needed to grant access…
