Need help in AMP understanding

    Hi there,
    I installed a wordpress site in my localhost to test the AMP.
    I am new to this as I hope to understand more from you guys.
    I created a few articles and installed the plugin. I put in the “amp/” at the end of the URl of my article and it works perfectly fine.
    But when I view it in my mobile and click on the article, it is still the default wordpress layout. I am not sure how this works. I was thinking it will change the layout of the article by the AMP plugin to load faster in mobile. Maybe I’m wrong? Can someone explain further to me?
