Need help in Theme

    Hi
    I am using your theme its working fine but there is some thing i don’t want on my front page.
    when i publish a post on my home page it shows all the content on the home page i want to short it down like 3 line max and then i want to add button “read more” when user click on the button it should jump to that permalink of the post because there are 6 post on the main page right now and in tab its a lengthy scroll down. Can you help me with this i am new in wordpress.
