Need help with 2 things

    First I am getting a strange thing on all my pages except the main page. The main page found at https://eeinc.biz looks perfect. But if I go to any other page like https://eeinc.biz/catalog/ or https://eeinc.biz/careers/ the main content goes all the way up the header, like it is not starting at the end of the header section… any ideas?

    Second I want to add hero section to all my pages except catalog and blog pages, how do I add the hero into other pages like it shows on the main page?

    Hey @ettermanenterprises,

    1) There is a CSS that is causing the header issues.

    Take a look at this screenshot.

    #masthead {
    position: absolute!important;
    width: 100%;
}

    It seems the CSS is coming from elementor-sm-widgets. I’m not sure why that CSS is there.

    2) Since there isn’t an option for that, you would have to use a filter function.
    Install this plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/code-snippets/ , create a new snippet and add this function:

    function custom_sinatra_is_hero_displayed( $displayed, $post_id ) {

	if ( is_single( $post_id ) && is_singular( 'post' ) ) {
		return false;
	}

	if ( function_exists( 'is_woocommerce' ) && is_woocommerce() ) {
		return false;
	}

	if ( function_exists( 'is_cart' ) && is_cart() || function_exists( 'is_checkout' ) && is_checkout() ) {
		return false;
	}

	return true;
}
add_filter( 'sinatra_is_hero_displayed', 'custom_sinatra_is_hero_displayed', 10, 2 );

    You still need to enable the “Hero” from the Customizer.

    #2 worked, so the hero issue is fixed! Thanks for that.

    I am still trying to figure out this header thing though. I deleted the css

    }

    And that work, but now the catalog is showing double categories. Any thoughts?
