Need help with a database error

    I just posted to my blog at http://theauctionrebel.com and suddenly all the content disappared and I get the error message:

    WordPress database error: [Can’t open file: ‘wp_posts.MYI’. (errno: 145)]

    Any suggestions or help regarding what I need to do to fix things would be greatly appreciated.

    What was in the post? Anything other than text? If you can save what you posted, do so and then delete the post and see if it fixes it.

    When I go to manage posts to delete it I get “no posts found”.

    The post included text, one picture, and a table. I’ve made numerous similar posts numerous times without any problems.

    Have you checked the database to see if the posts are there?

    I’ve tried checking the database via phpMyAdmin on my server, but when I try to look at wp_posts there all I get is a similar error message – #1016 – Can’t open file: ‘wp_posts.MYI’. (errno: 145)

    Is there somewhere else I can look?
