• Hello! So I’m using the Signify Dark theme, and am having trouble setting the left and right page margins on my pages. Using the right column sidebar with nothing in it used to work to center things nicely, but a few months back that stopped working. I’ve been trying to use css codes but I can’t seem to figure it out. I just want larger margins and I need assistance. Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It should still work, no need to use any custom CSS code. You simply have to use the correct template for the page.

To have the narrow width, single column layout, you have to use the “Default template” and no sidebar widgets.

If you use the full-width template, you get just that: full-width page!

Yes, that’s the way I was doing it, and it was working for a couple of years, and then recently it stopped working so I’ve been experimenting with different things to try to make it work. Believe me, it looked fine when I edit it, but then I publish it and look at it and the width is screwed again.

edited to add—I just changed to the default template so you can see what it does with that activated.

Please give a link to one specific page where this is not working, so I can test it to know what’s going on behind the scenes.

From a quick check I did on your website, I found that all the pages with full-width layout are using the Full-width template, and not the Default template.

Thanks George! I just changed the template–this used to work to center the page but now it does not…..check it out! I was using full width because it looks so crappy this way! 🙂

I am still looking for help with adjusting the margins at http://www.mattnagin.com

I’ve been looking around the web for css code for left and right margins, but haven’t found what I need yet….Am I supposed to start a new thread? Am I in the right forum?

    Thanks in advance….
