Need help with setting up access

Hello, I found this plugin when I was looking for something I can use to restrict authors to certain categories and pages to edit. BUT… I’m not sure how to use it for that since this is for so much more lol so I feel a bit overwhelmed. Is it possible to walk me through one setup say its called Author – Booster Committee how I would go about making that role so that that person in that role can see everything members can BUT they can post only in the Booster Category and edit the booster’s page.
