Need “recent blog post” section

    I would like to know the best way to get a “recent blog post” section on my website like this site has..
    http://www.dreamten.com/ (at the very bottom)
    This one seems to be using some kind of flash thing I guess.I cant figure out how it works. Can someone lead me to how they did this? If its not the best way then please share you opinion and tips on the best way to get a recent blog post section on a website page.

    Their not using flash for the entire section just for the header text. It looks like it’s just a simple mini loop. Here is a simple one that I use

    <?php $myquery = new WP_Query(); ?>
<ul>
  <?php while ($myquery->have_posts()) : $myquery->the_post(); ?>
<li><a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></li>
 <?php endwhile;?>
</ul></li>
<?php endif; ?>
</ul>
