    Hey!
    I just installed the plugin for the first time, I just want to make the homepage of my website static; Exactly how would I do that??

    UPDATE:
    I have the index.htm file that I need.
    How do I make it the homepage?
    I tried uploading it to public_html and renaming it to index.php (and the existing index.php to index1.php) for testing, but I got Internal server error and had to revert the changes to make it go..

    UPDATE2: Then I tried to turn it into a page template, (So I could create a page with the template and set it as the homepage) but it didn’t work either.

    This doesn’t sound like the use case for the plugin.

    Please refer to the Getting Started section at https://wp2static.com/documentation

    It will give a better idea.

    Basically, I want only the frontpage of my website to be static.

    You may go ahead and mark this ticket as ‘solved’ if your plugin is unable to do this.
