disabling it (and optionally clearing any page cache you might have) should return your site in the original state @paulnanan.
concering problems; the FAQ contains some great troubleshooting info and if you need extra guidance I’m always willing to help.
hope this helps,
frank
Thanks, Frank. Not an IT guy so already struggling. I will just keep it as it is. Its working at this point is all I care about. Its pretty slow maybe next time I pay someone to create my site for me.
You do look like this must be a great product given all the positive reviews.
Thanks
Paul
Frank,
I am going to try this again wish me luck
Paul
OK, I’ll be watching this thread for any questions/ problems you might have 🙂
Frank set it up like I seen on a few You Tube videos.
Speed dropped. Okay I just do not know what I am doing may try to restore site from a backup later tonight
Morning Paul; had a look, but you seem to have deactivated AO again in the mean time (no need for backup actually, disabling should suffice). regarding “speed dropped”; what tool do you use to measure?
I use Google PageSpeed Insights. A problem I have now is that I cannot use the app to determine the critical path because the CSS file is to large.
Do you know of another tool I can use to determine the critical path. I may try to install it again.
Paul
Thanks Frank
there’s a number of CCSS tools listed in AO’s FAQ actually, did you try those already?
