Need Wider sidebars?

    What theme files would I edit, and how to make sidebars wider?
    It looks as though in wider layouts the sidebars are only say to 3 of the 12 grid. Classes such as these: col-sm-4 col-md-3 col-lg-3
    I’ve tried making them all 4, and setting the main content down to 8 from 9.
    But I didn’t see those changes taking effect.

    The problem is the sidebars are not quite wide enough to accomodate a 300×250 ad, which I’m guessing many people would be using.

    I have things set as a child theme, so changes will not be overwritten for me.
    Will report back, if I figure it out.

    Still working on the solution for this, will report back when my buddy Geoffrey helps me figure the solution to get a wider sidebar by one extra column.
