Needs double opt-in

    Hi there

    great plugin! Just one thing: for legal reason I must have double opt-in with the Mailchimp integration. Not sure about other countries, but for example Germany, Switzerland and so on, you can’t do without double opt in. Can you enable this?

    hm in fact I notice the Mailchimp integration does not work at all, but the Emails are saved in the “subscribers” section of the plugin admin, even though I have set it up correctly, entering API key, selecting the right list, etc. Might there be a problem if Name is a mandatory field on my Mailchimp list?

    Ok case closed. If your list requires a field other than Email to be mandatory, a signup via any form that just passes on the Email will not work it seems.

    Hi @sebh,

    Thanks for noticing the issue. We didn’t see it until this.

    We are considering to have name field also in the forms in the future. So it won’t be a problem after then.
