Needs updating from admin panel to display?

    Hi.
    I am using front end posting option and also as well advanced custom fields to save meta key fifu_image_url, and it does, but unfortunatelly it does not display image until I open post manually in admin panel and hit update button, just than image will appear.

    Hi, @mllapan.

    Setting the custom field isn’t enough. It will be necessary to create some metadata.

    Clicking on update button is a way to do that. Another way would be to disable and enable the toggle “Fake Internal Featured Image” (the Second one). Another way would be scheduling the metadata generation.

    Nothing of that is required if you were using WP All Import or WP Rest API. But it seems you are using a nonstandard or unknown way to make the import, right?

    Let me know the way you are doing that. Is that a plugin? Is a script? Something else?
