nested categories plus posts

    I can’t find a plug-in that will output a clickable list of my categories plus links to the posts that belong to them — that preserves my category hierarchy. I want to feed it to my drop-down menu. The closest thing I’ve found so far has been WP Categories and Posts, but it flattens out the hierarchy, like so:

    Can anyone tell me if what I want is possible and if anyone has done it before?
