Nested modal for gated video

I’m trying the following:

Modal block. Inside it is Gutenberg Forms (https://github.com/extendify/gutenberg-forms), and another Modal block.

The inner modal block is marked as “On class selector”, using the class of the submit button.

If i do these two inner ones by themself, it works. I submit the form, and the modal pops up (w/ my gated video).

When I move these two inner ones into its own ‘modal block’, i cannot launch the outer, nothing shows.

So, … Is it expected that i can have a modal block inside a modal block? It seems this would be a powerful pattern.
