Nested Post Loop widget

Just wondering if it is possible to use nested Post Loop widgets?

For example, on the front page of the site I am using the Post Loop widget to loop over and display all top level pages (i.e. like a single page site). On one of the top level pages, I would like to use another Post Loop widget to loop over and display a custom post type.

So far I have had no luck in getting this to work. Any assistance would be much appreciated?
