network dashboard not showing

Recovery from hacker.
There are some 37 subdomains with posts but I can see only the main site and one other (subdomain)
I cannot see the network link, plugins do not show correctly – cannot add a plugin.
Themes are restricted to one.
Clearly, I need access to the network dashboard.
I have checked the wp-config.php multisite which is

The .htaccess is configured for v. 3 – 3.4.2 (this is an older site)

I have reloaded this site 3 times…….

Any clues would be most gratefully accepted.
