Network Plugins – No valid header? On ALL plugins

    Hello.
    I recently installed wordpress as our fratenity’s CMS for our front page and our brother portal. I ma using the network installation and so far so good.

    However, everytime I try to install a plugin, as soon as I click “network activate” immediately after installation, I get the error “The plugin does not have a valid header.”

    This has occured with every plug in I have installed, not just ones that are incompatiable (or so WP thinks)
    Any help is appreciated.
