Network Roles / Capabilities Management

    I’m using buddypress in a multisite environment – and the latest version of everything.

    I want to create a custom role specifically for our community manager. She needs to be able to access and edit posts, pages, and comments to any given site across the entire network.

    So far the only way I have been able to give her such access is by making her a super-admin, but that comes with too much of other capabilities.

    I’ve looked into plugins like role scoper, role editor, advanced access manager – and I just can’t figure this one out.

    How do I assign a person a set of capabilities which are in effect for any given site?

    There isn’t a way yet :/ I’ve fiddled with this myself, and the only solution was to make them an admin on all the sites individually.

    thanks @ipstenu . I think I was able to cobble something together using Advanced Access Manager and Extended Super Admins plugins. Basically I used Advanced Access Manager to create a community manager role. I then checked the community manager user as a “super admin” and then used Extended Super Admins to limit that role’s capabilities. Seems to work – crossing fingers.
