    Hello all,

I am getting ready to release the Accessible SeaBeast Theme (entire site is dedicated to theme support) and was hoping to get a little feedback before actually posting the download. This will be my second theme, with Beast-Blog being the first. This one, however, is much more than a theme. It has a contact form and myriad options and functionality including stats and such, all controlled by a small set of configuration files. I made this so people will have less difficulty modifying their blog and adding all that extra stuff. With this theme, if they follow the instructions, should have a much easier time with management as they will not have to edit the regular theme files.

    Sincerely
    Mike Cherim

It’s beastly! 😀 No, really, I like it. It looks great, very clean-looking and gentle.

Very nice. I like the fact it is fullwidth and has the flexibility to be changed quite a bit to add a person’s own stamp to it.

And the way you have set up the demo is great – if only all theme designers took the time to explain a few of the functions as you have.

Just make sure you let us know when it is released 🙂

I added this theme to the codex today, http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Using_Themes/Theme_List#Three_Columns, and it has been removed. I didn’t have problems when adding to the Codex with my last release.

    Anyone know why?

Extrmely cool theme. Thanks for releasing it.

    You’re welcome samboll.

I’m bummed it was removed from the Codex themes list. It does have added features but I’m pretty sure I followed the guidelines pretty closely. It requires a configuration but that is for all the added stuff. I didn’t muck up WordPress, widget and upgrade support should be fine.

I hope I get an official response on this. I busted my butt on this theme. I’ve gotten good responses from people who have set it up and stuff so I don’t quite understand.

You might ask on the codex mail list

Hi Mike… your theme SeaBeast is beautiful. I spent an hour last night just reading through your documentation – wow! I think what makes a theme truly great is when someone without much programming knowledge can install and refer to the themes FAQ and work there way through any problems on their own. Cheers to you!

Well, got it squared away. I think it was due to my stupidity. It seems as if I entered the theme in the Codex, viewed and tested the entry, then left without actually saving it. D’oh. Sorry about that. It is listed now so I’m happy.

Special thanks to miklb who provided the solution I needed.

Very nice and classy theme, but some things in the terms are a bit too much imho.
