    Hi

Thanks for the helpful plug in.

There is a new consent box that has been automatically added under my comments section that says the following: “Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment”.

I can’t see this consent box in the settings section of the plug in anywhere. I didn’t add this latest consent. Was this just added automatically with an update?

Since this latest consent has been added this and the previous consent box are not aligned and in odd places on my posts. How can I fix this or edit the latest consent box?

    Thanks

Hi – this is a WordPress Core function. 🙂 Added with version 4.9.6

    Hi, hmmm ok thanks.

The strange this is then that I disabled the consent box from this plug in to see if that helped the alignment (as it was looking like there is far too much unaligned text underneath my comments section) and then the other consent box from which you say is from the WordPress Core function has gone too.. It doesn’t make any sense to me …

Any ideas why that would disappear if it is nothing to do with this plug in?

    Thanks!

Might be a styling issue with your theme. Or a caching issue. As stated by @van-ons; The functionally you’re talking about is added by the WordPress Core in the latest update. All we add is the GDPR checkbox, with a log for accepted consents.
